 Hoo’s Up Sport Fishing Charters can take you offshore to catch marlin, sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, and tuna. You can also fish near the deep sea waters on the reef line just a couple of miles offshore of Islamorada. Here you will catch bottom fish such as grouper, yellowtail, mutton snapper and many other deep sea fish. You never know what might grab your line in the offshore waters of Islamorada. You could also go far into the deep sea for the mighty swordfish. In the offshore waters of Islamorada, the swordfish is known as the gladiator of the deep. You can fish for the swordfish day or night. In the daytime you fish  with the deep drop method. Your hook and line are sent near the bottom in very deep waters where the swordfish feeds and rests during the day. The night fishing for the swordfish is done in the same waters but is done near the surface. Special lights are put out around the boat and your hook to attract the night feeding swordfish to your bait. It’s a very exciting form of deep sea fishing. In the offshore waters near the reef the sailfish is king. You fish for the sailfish with the slow troll or kite fishing method. Both are done with live bait that you catch on the way out of Islamorada to start your trip. All of the offshore and deep sea fishing of Islamorada is fun and exciting in its own way.
